New Delhi: The 7th New Delhi Film Festival, a prestigious cinematic event, unfolded in the heart of the nation’s capital at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Organized under the auspices of the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) Trust, this year’s edition marked a significant departure from tradition as films were screened prior to the awards ceremony, a first in the festival’s history.
A total of six outstanding films, comprising five short films and the feature film Karthikeya 2, graced the festival with their compelling narratives and cinematic brilliance. This marked a pivotal step towards enhancing the festival experience for attendees, paving the way for a more immersive and enriching cinematic journey. From next year this festival will be organized on a bigger level with film screening. The festival started with the national anthem sung in sign language by Amitabh Bachchan.
