Mumbai : To mark the auspicious beginning of Navratri, Yash Raj Films has released a new poster for Mardaani 3. The poster offers a glimpse into the decisive clash between good and evil. Rani Mukerji returns to audiences as her iconic character – the fearless police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy.
To enhance the poster’s impact, the powerful mantra “Aigiri Nandini” has been included. This symbolizes the power of Goddess Durga when she killed Mahishasura. This clearly indicates that Shivani will once again face dangerous criminals with courage and dedication.
The Mardaani series is considered one of the most successful female-led franchises in Indian cinema. Each film has exposed the darker aspects of society and conveyed profound messages to audiences.
Following the immense success of 2014’s Mardaani and 2019’s Mardaani 2, the third installment promises to be even more intense and dark. Audiences will find a theatrical experience filled with thrills and suspense.
The third installment is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on February 27, 2026.
