Jaipur: On Friday, on behalf of the Intelligence Jaipur team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Headquarters, a case was registered against Cooperative Department Jaipur (IAS) Registrar Meghraj Singh Ratnu and his wife Manjula Ratnu and others in case of disproportionate assets in Jaipur, Ajmer, Sriganganagar. Search operation is being conducted in Jaisalmer and Sikar.
Additional Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hemant Priyadarshi said that during the search operation being conducted at the residence of Cooperative Department Jaipur Registrar Meghraj Singh Ratnu in the case of disproportionate assets under the leadership of ACB Intelligence Jaipur team, plot number in the name of Meghraj Singh Ratnu was found. 22 Shastri Nagar Housing Scheme Ajmer Area 600 sq. yards, Plot No. 64 Mahalaxmi Nagar Ajmer Road Jaipur, Area 422 sq. yards, Plot No. 6 Shiv Shakti Nagar Jagatpura Jaipur, Area 1020 sq. yards, Plot F-35 Shiv Officer Colony, 500 sq. yards, Shri Salasar Overseas Pvt. Ltd. Balaji Blessing was found to have lease of plot number 8D, area 904.16 square yards on Ajmer Road. Apart from this, plot number 65 in the name of his wife Manjula Ratnu, Mahalaxmi Nagar Ajmer Road Jaipur, area 422 square yards, flat number C-402 Trimurti Complex Malviya Nagar Jaipur, area 1242 square feet, flat number C-403 Trimurti Complex Malviya Nagar Jaipur, area 1242. Found to be square feet. Also, plot number 63, Mahalaxmi Nagar Ajmer Road Jaipur, area of 422 square yards was found to be in the name of his daughter Mahija Ratnu. Also, lease of plot number 14, area 500 on Meghraj Singh Ratnu’s nephew Mahipal Singh, Balaji Blessing – plot number 07D area on 3 Ajmer Road, in the name of nephew Mahipal Singh and his wife Manisha Bareth. 550 square yards and plot number 13 area was found to be 500 square yards.
Went . During the search, cash amount of Rs 6 lakh 2 thousand 210 and gold and silver jewellery, 4 lockers in SBI, HDFC, AU Small Bank are to be searched. IAS Meghraj Ratnu and his family members have several accounts in various banks, three vehicles at home – Ford Endeavour, Hyundai I – 10, Maruti SX – 4, about Rs. 50 lakhs in the study of medical seat in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College of Mr. Ratnu’s son Mihir Ratnu. Documents related to payment of Rs. During the search of the office room of IAS Meghraj Singh Ratnu at Nehru Sahakar Bhawan, the ACB team recovered personal files, receipt of the policy of Life Insurance Corporation of India, electricity bill, four suspicious diaries and a pen drive and an SBI bank account in the name of Meghraj Singh.
Photocopy of check etc. has been received. ACB has been informed by reliable sources that the suspected officer has spent around Rs 60 lakh on his daughter’s education and around Rs 1 crore 50 lakh on his daughter’s marriage. There is also a possibility of IAS Ratnu traveling abroad during his service, membership in Jaipur Club and Rambagh Golf Club, documents of valuable assets etc. Search is going on by ACB teams at other places including Jaipur.
