Mumbai: Bollywood actress Chahatt Khanna has always given priority to her fitness. No matter how busy she is in her day-to-day life, she never skips her fitness, which is indeed a very admirable quality. From cardiovascular exercises to core muscle training in the gym, Chahatt believes in balancing it all for her fitness goals.
However, recently the diva has embraced Ayurveda to move towards a more holistic approach towards her fitness. As we all know, ‘Ayurveda’ is an ancient system that emphasises on balancing the mind, body and spirit and no wonder it suits Chahatt perfectly.
When asked more about how she has adopted it, Chahat shared, “So I started making changes in my diet and lifestyle according to Ayurveda. As such, I started practising yoga and meditation again. However, since then, I must say that I started feeling uncomfortable with my protein shakes. In fact, I gave them up and got back to the basic diet.
When asked about how things improved for her after getting acquainted with the goodness of Ayurveda, she further explained, “Well, I realised at first that something was missing. Whenever I did yoga and skipped weight training at the gym, I felt healthy again. That’s when, I started learning more about yoga and Ayurveda. I got to know my body type according to Ayurveda and then started doing the same.
Now, I have completely turned to the ancient practices of Ayurveda. From my food to my accessories, shampoo, skincare and sunscreen, I have got rid of the most expensive products in the world and replaced them with Ayurveda and simple Indian things. In the process, I am also able to save a lot of money every month and not just that, I am also curing my viral fever and any other ailments with this practice. I strongly recommend Ayurveda to everyone. Be patient and soon, you will see a change in your mind and body.”
