Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit has an important role to play in realizing the goal of Viksit Rajasthan by the year 2047. Shri Sharma said that the investment summit organized last year not only touched new heights in securing record investment proposals but also helped the state emerge as a major investment destination. Talking about the proposed ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Partnership Conclave-2025, scheduled to be held on 11-12 December later this year in Jaipur, the CM said that the conclave will further strengthen Rajasthan’s investment-based partnerships.
Sharma gave these remarks during a meeting that was convened to discuss the action plan for the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Partnership Conclave-2025 at the Chief Minister’s residence today. The Chief Minister said that during the conclave the investors will be duly informed about the transformation Rajasthan has achieved in its industrial and economic spheres due to the fast-paced implementation of the MoUs exchanged during the investment summit held last year. He also gave directions to the officials to explore investment-based partnerships between Rajasthan and key organizations, institutions and stakeholders across sectors. In particular, he suggested that the officials should work towards forging sister-city, sister-country and industry to industry partnerships for Rajasthan.
CM: Conclave will showcase progress on ‘Rising Rajasthan’ 2024 & Vision of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ 2026
The Chief Minister said that the Partnership Conclave will prove to be a strategic milestone for Rajasthan to not only explore new investment possibilities but also achieve progress on their implementation. Shri Sharma said that the conclave will also help develop an effective framework for the investable projects in the state. The Chief Minister highlighted that the central objective of the Partnership Conclave will be to showcase progress on the MoUs signed under the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 and present the government’s vision for the next edition of the investment summit scheduled to be held in the year 2026.
CM directs officials to submit department-wise report on MoUs implementation
The Chief Minister directed the officials to work in a time-bound manner to lay the groundwork for the Partnership Conclave. The Chief Minister also said that a senior official should be appointed as the coordinator to promote mutual coordination between departments. Shri Sharma also directed officials to submit a detailed department-wise report on the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ MoUs proposed for ground-breaking by November 2025.
Key events to be organized in the run-up to Partnership Conclave
The Chief Minister said that in the run-up to the conclave, the state government will organize thematic departmental programs along with other key investment & business related events. Emphasizing on the significance of investors’ feedback, Shri Sharma gave directions to organize department-wise meetings with the investors that signed MoUs during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024. He further said that a special seminar should also be organized on the theme of Rajasthan’s mineral wealth.
Farmers, Labourers, Women & Youth to remain key focus of Partnership Conclave
Emphasizing on the government’s commitment towards the welfare of women, farmers, labourers and youth, the Chief Minister said special sessions will be organized during the Partnership Conclave on themes promoting their welfare. During the meeting, the Chief Minister was apprised by officials about the proposed panel discussions, round tables, fireside chats, and anchor investor conferences during the 2-day Partnership Conclave. Senior officials from various departments of the Government of Rajasthan were present during the meeting.
