Jaipur. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated a mega medical camp at the Army Hospital on Monday. This medical camp was organized with the objective of promoting the welfare, respect, and better health of ex-servicemen and their families who have dedicated their lives to the defense of the nation.
After the inauguration, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inspected the medical camp and interacted with the patients, inquiring about their health. She not only boosted their morale but also wished them a speedy recovery.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that this medical camp is providing ex-servicemen and their families with treatment and expert consultations for various medical problems, including heart disease and bone-related ailments. This initiative is a meaningful step towards their better health and a life of dignity. She said that it is due to the indomitable courage, discipline, and dedication of our soldiers that the country’s borders are secure and India is continuously becoming stronger.
Diya Kumari said that she herself is the daughter of a soldier. The values of discipline, service, sacrifice, and patriotism have been an integral part of her life since childhood. She has witnessed and felt the pain, struggles, and pride of military families very closely. Therefore, serving the brave soldiers and their families is not just a duty for her, but an emotional connection and a heartfelt obligation.
She informed that this medical camp marks the beginning of the Army Day celebrations to be held in Jaipur on January 15th. There is immense enthusiasm among the general public regarding the Army Day parade, which is being held in Rajasthan for the first time. The organization of this grand parade in Jaipur is a matter of pride for the people of the state.
On this occasion, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South-Western Command, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Regional President of AWWA, Barinderjeet Kaur, and a large number of ex-servicemen and their families were present.
