DGP congratulated Asiad medal winning police players

Jaipur. Director General of Police Umesh Mishra has congratulated the 11 medal winning players of Rajasthan including five players of Rajasthan Police so far in the Asiad. He also extended his best wishes to the Rajasthan Police players participating in the remaining competitions for their excellent performance.

Mishra has congratulated the players as well as their coaches, sports officials and team managers for this remarkable performance. He said that the Asiad medal winning players of Rajasthan Police have brought glory to the police as well as the state and the country.
It is noteworthy that till now a total of 11 players from the state, including 5 players from Rajasthan Police, have won medals in the Asiad.

In the team of 12 players that won the women’s Kabaddi gold medal in the Asiad, 4 players are sub-inspectors Nidhi Sharma and Sushma Sharma and platoon commanders Sakshi Kumari and Muskaan Malik are from Rajasthan Police. Deputy Superintendent Shalini Pathak is their coach. Sub-Inspector Kiran Baliyan of Rajasthan Police has won the bronze medal in shot put.
