Jaipur’s West District Police team, under the ongoing campaign Cyber Shield, took action in Kardhani and Jhotwara police station areas and arrested fifteen miscreants of the gang involved in cheating through call center and satta app. Also, a juvenile has also been detained. The police have found eighty bank accounts from the miscreants, in which all the accounts have been seized after getting information about transactions worth crores. Also, the police seized laptops, mobiles, ATM cards, bank passbooks, checkbooks, routers, switches, notebooks, SIM cards, chargers from them. In the investigation so far, evidence of fraud worth crores of rupees has been found. At present, the police is busy interrogating the accused.

Ramanand Gathala (38) resident of Pallu district Hanumangarh, currently Govindpura Kardhani, Rajesh Kumar (30) resident of Churu Kardhani Jaipur, Ashok Kumar Verma (39) resident of Pilani district Jhunjhunu, currently Muralipura Jaipur, Ganeshram (27) resident of Maroth district Didwana Kuchaman, currently Kardhani Jaipur, Gyanaram (22) resident of Maroth district Didwana Kuchaman, Krishna Kumar (27) resident of Buhana district Jhunjhunu, Pankaj (21) resident of Chahad Kala district Bhiwani (Haryana), Rajveer (26) resident of Bapayar Kala district Kota, Ashish (24) resident of Bagad district Jhunjhunu, Gaurav (19) resident of Shivani district Bhiwani (Haryana), Dharam Singh (21) resident of Kuchaman district Didwana Kuchaman, Dipesh (25) resident of Buhana district Jhunjhunu, Vijay alias Bijuram Sain (25) resident of Maroths district Didwana Kuchaman, Ankit Kumar Soni (23) resident of Moulasar district Didwana Kuchaman presently Kardhani Jaipur, Sunil Kumar (20) resident of Moulasar district Didwana Kuchaman have been arrested. Also, a juvenile has been detained.
They used to trap e-mitra people by luring them with high profits
Police investigation has revealed that this gang traps different e-mitra people through their website through call center to do recharge, account opening form, balance inquiry, mini statement, money transfer, Aadhaar update related work. They also lure them with high profits in exchange for working on their website. After this, they trap them by telling them that the service is free.
Women were hired to call e-mitra people
Police investigation has revealed that the accused hire women to call e-mitra people. These women call different e-mitra people. They make them call in the name of free service. After that, they create IDs of customers (e-mitra operators) using Aadhaar card and PAN card.
When the customer starts the service, one thousand rupees are deducted from his account initially. After that two thousand rupees are deducted for the service. They do not inform the customer about this beforehand. Customers stop picking up the number when they ask for refund of their money. In this way, they used to cheat by getting the money coming from customers transferred to a fake account in a fraudulent manner.
They used to make people gamble on online games, casino, teen patti and other games
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur West said that in the action taken against online gambling in Kardhani area, the accused used to make people gamble on online games, casino, teen patti and other games. For this, Mahadev Book, Ready 118 and Cricket Bat 99 sites were being used. During the action against online gambling, it was revealed that people use their laptops and mobiles to gamble and bet under the name of Reddy118 and make people play online gaming, casino, teen patti and all other games on different sites including Cricket Bat99 and many other online sites.
