Jaipur. Muhana police station has busted a gang that stole clothes from factories and has arrested six miscreants of the gang, which also includes two juvenile offenders. Police has recovered stolen clothes worth lakhs of rupees from the accused. Also, a loading vehicle used in the crime has also been seized. Police is currently interrogating the accused.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Jaipur (South) Digant Anand said that Muhana police station has taken action and arrested miscreants of the cloth thief gang Vishnu Kushwahar alias Laxman (19) resident of Kiravali district Agra Uttar Pradesh, currently Muhana Jaipur, Abhishek Dhakad (48) resident of Bayana district Bharatpur, currently Muhana, Omprakash Sharma (22) resident of Sanganer Jaipur. Also, two juvenile offenders involved in this crime have also been detained.

Police investigation has revealed that the accused go to cloth factories during the day on the pretext of seeking work and then do a recce of the factory’s security equipment and the routes leading to and from it. After this, after working in the factory for some time, they commit the crime of cloth theft when they get a chance. The accused commit theft for fun and their expensive hobbies. The police is busy interrogating the arrested accused. There is a possibility of many other crimes getting revealed during the interrogation.
