Jaipur. A case of extorting Rs 4 lakhs by a woman by blackmailing a hotel manager has come to light in Amer police station area. The victim manager alleges that she started extorting money by posting on Instagram and threatening to implicate him in honey trap case. In this regard, the victim hotel manager has registered a case against the accused woman in the police station.
Police station officer Antim Sharma said that a 33-year-old youth resident of Vidyadhar Nagar has registered a case that he is working as a manager in a hotel located in Amer area. The woman had joined the hotel as a guest relationship manager only eight months ago. Due to working together, both of them started talking. During the conversation, the accused female friend trapped him in the trap of love. She started extorting ten-twenty thousand rupees by telling him that she needed money.
Frustrated by the repeated demand for money, he refused to give money. As soon as the money stopped coming, the woman’s attitude changed. She started threatening to defame him on social media. Along with telling his wife, she threatened to ruin his life by trapping him in a honey trap case. On complaining to the hotel owner, the woman accepted her mistake and apologized in writing. A few days later, when she threatened to defame him again, the hotel owner fired her from the job. Ten days later, she wrote an objectionable thing along with his photo and posted it on Instagram.
The woman called and said that she is defaming him now, and will file a rape case later. She made WhatsApp calls and threatened him continuously and demanded Rs 3 lakh. On giving the money, she said that she would delete the post and not take any action. On July 6, after taking the money, the accused woman went to Chandigarh by flight with her partner Pushpendra. After this, she took a photo at Jaipur airport at night and sent it on WhatsApp. On July 8, she again wrote an objectionable thing and posted it on Instagram.
On asking to remove the post, she demanded Rs 5 lakh. On threatening, Rs 50,000 were transferred to her bank account. On July 12, another Rs 20,000 were added. On July 18, a post was again posted on Instagram to defame him. Frustrated with the blackmailing and repeated demands for money, the victim filed a case at the Amer police station and started investigating.
