Pooja has worked in different genres and languages over the years and is fondly referred to as the ‘Queen of Crossover’ by her fans. Recently, the actress graced the trailer launch event of Deva and opened up about her successful transition to different film industries.
Pooja Hegde shared, “I just want to do versatile roles, I want to do something different in every film where I am playing a very different character than this one. I am working in different languages, and this is a reflection of the films I have done. I have always believed that one should go where there is good content.
I have followed my heart. I have worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, and I have received love, appreciation, and acceptance, which is a privilege. It is an honour. It is very humbling and motivates me to work harder. I am a Mumbai girl who started my career in Tamil Nadu, got love and appreciation in Telugu, but I am from Karnataka, so maybe that also helped!”
Let us tell you, Pooja Hegde is working as a leading lady in ‘Deva’ and she plays a journalist in the film. Along with this, her on-screen presence with Shahid Kapoor is also increasing the appeal of the film and her dynamic role is impressing the netizens a lot.
