Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who has made a mark in Bollywood on his own, is now excited about the first Diwali release of his career. The film ‘Thamma’, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, will hit the big screens on Diwali 2025.
Diwali has always been considered special for the release of big stars and big films, and now this occasion is being seen as a big achievement for Ayushmann.
Ayushmann says, “For me, Diwali is a festival of togetherness, spending time with family and friends. Every year it is my tradition to go to the theatre with my family and watch a film on Diwali. It is the biggest cinematic experience for me.”
He adds, “For the first time, my film is releasing on Diwali, and it is the biggest release of my career. It feels very special to know that my film can be a source of laughter and happiness for people in this joyous festive season.”
Ayushmann reveals that the entire team is working hard to bring the film to a larger audience: “I am giving my all for Thaama. My producers Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, director Aditya Sarpotdar and the entire team are putting in their best every day to make this film a memorable experience for everyone.”
In Thaama, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen sharing the screen with Rashmika Mandanna for the first time, which could become the freshest on-screen pair of 2025.
