Jaipur. The world’s largest competitive film festival Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2025 will be inaugurated on Friday at Rajasthan International Center. The special attraction of this year will be the musical red carpet opening ceremony and the presence of more than 400 filmmakers, directors, actors, producers, distributors and film industry veterans from India and abroad. This year, 98 awards will be given to 75 outstanding films out of 240 nominated films from 48 countries.
This award ceremony will be held on the very first day of JIFF. Also, the main attraction of the red carpet and opening ceremony will be various cultural and musical performances. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be dedicated to the King of Romance, late Shri Yash Chopra. His grandson Rishabh Chopra will come to Jaipur specially from Mumbai to receive this award.
From this time a new tradition of red carpet opening ceremony is starting in JIFF. More than 100 celebrities and famous filmmakers from India and abroad will participate in it. Also, the concept of chief guest will be abolished and the film industry and its contribution will be given top priority.
