Jaipur: Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur successfully hosted its z17th Convocation Ceremony for its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and fifth Annual Convocation for its Post Graduate Diploma in Service Management (PGDM- SM). The convocation ceremony took place at the institute’s premises and was graced by the presence of Ramesh Natarajan, CEO of Redington Ltd. – India, South Asia, and Singapore as the Chief Guest for the occasion. In the welcome address, Sharad Jaipuria, Chairman, Jaipuria Institute of Management asserted the students to be worthy of the diplomas conferred on them. AICTE approved PGDM Diplomas were awarded to 235 graduating students. The ceremony also included the awarding of medals to meritorious graduating students.

While addressing the graduating students, Ramesh Natarajan said “that students
should be ready to embrace change and they should never stop learning. He also said
that success is not about what you have achieved, but about how you inspire others”. On
this occasion, Dr Prabhat Pankaj, Director presented the annual report and said that
the 17th graduating batch is particularly special, as our students have got best of the
corporate jobs with a higher placement package, prestigious profiles, international
placements as well as numerous offers. He also owed the success to the institute and its
faculty’s efforts to go beyond classroom learning to instigate learning among students
through many initiatives such as leadership lab cases, book reading sessions, LinkedIn
learning, industry immersion programmes and many more.

The diplomas were awarded in the disciplines of Marketing Management, Finance and
Accounting, Human Resource Management, Operations Management and Business
Analytics. Dr Samar Sarabhai, Dean, Academics also announced awards for the
meritorious students for their academic performance.

In the PGDM General batch Dheeprada Gupta and Shruti Bansal were awarded Chairman’s Gold Medal, Abhishek Gupta was awarded Vice- Chairman’s Silver Medal and the Director’s Bronze Medal was awarded to Lakshya Parnami. In the PGDM Service Management batch, Kanishka Kothari was awarded Chairman’s Gold Medal, Mumal Singh was awarded Vice- Chairman’s Silver Medal and the Director’s Bronze Medal was received by Yashika Bhalla.

Faculty awards were conferred to Dr. Srikant Gupta, Dr. Lokesh Vijayvargy and Dr. Varun
Chotia. Among other recognitions, Anubhav Saxena and Akshat Jhalani were awarded
the Best Alumni Award 2024 for their acclaimed achievements and their successful
career. The 17th convocation ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Shreevats
Jaipuria, Vice Chairman, Jaipuria Institute of Management, who expressed his gratitude
towards all the stakeholders of the institute.
