Jaipur. The team of Anti Gangster Task Force CID (CB) Police Headquarters Rajasthan is continuously running a campaign to arrest Lawrence Vishnoi gang and other gangsters. Due to which, the Anti Gangster Task Force CID (CB) Police Headquarters, Rajasthan Jaipur and Special Operation Cell Amritsar, Punjab teams arrested the accused from Jaipur and Tonk districts before they could execute the plan of serious crime by doing grenade blasts in Navashahar, Jalandhar Punjab and blasts in Delhi and Gwalior Madhya Pradesh around 15 August (Independence Day) and handed them over to Punjab Police.
On 07 July 2025, a henchman of Lawrence Vishnoi gang committed a serious crime by spreading terror in Navashahar Jalandhar and exploding a grenade in front of a liquor shop for illegal recovery and fled. The wanted notorious accused were arrested from Jaipur and Tonk districts.
Additional Director General of Police Crime Dinesh M.N. informed that Jaipur Range and Ajmer Range were sent to search for the wanted accused in the case registered in Special Operation Cell Amritsar Punjab.
The said team, while hiding their identity, without caring for their lives, worked hard in the criminal areas of Jaipur city and Tonk and collected intelligence regarding the wanted accused and with hard work, arrested Shivam alias Bittu son Sanjeev Yadav caste Yadav resident of Semikapura Panchayat Sarai Rasoolpur Police Station Balua District Chandoli Uttar Pradesh, Jitendra Chaudhary son Bhagchand Chaudhary caste Jat resident Akodia Police Station Niwai District Tonk, Sanjay son Budhram caste Nayak resident Navrangdesar Police Station Shergarh District Hanumangarh, Sonu alias Kali son Udaymandal caste Cheer resident Alamgir Kapurthala Punjab, Sonu son Raju Paswan caste Paswan resident Khas Darbar Kodarwa Kapurthala Punjab. Thus, six wanted accused were arrested, out of which 01 is a minor.
They were handed over to the Special Operation Cell Amritsar Punjab Police team from Punjab. On interrogation of the accused, it was found that these people are associated with Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. Whose handler is Zeeshan Akhtar, who lives in Canada. Who had taken responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai. Zeeshan Akhtar and Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti, Manu Agwan and Gopi Navasharia Punjab are connected with each other. They carry out criminal activities in different areas of the country and contact local youths by luring them with money and execute the crime.
The accused are connected with Zeeshan Akhtar through Instagram and other online apps. Zeeshan Akhtar had provided grenades to the accused. Which the accused had spread terror by blasting in Navashar Jalandhar Punjab. After the blast, the accused had come to Rajasthan. Zeeshan Akhtar used to give instructions to the accused through online apps. Who had given the responsibility to the accused to commit a major crime by carrying out a blast in Delhi and Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on Independence Day, 15th August.
