Mumbai: Aditya Chopra had kept Emraan Hashmi’s presence in Tiger 3 as a big mystery and after watching the blockbuster trailer of the film, we definitely know why! The biggest secret of Imran, the latest offering from the YRF spy universe, Tiger 3, is who is Salman Khan aka Super Agent Tiger aka Avinash Singh Rathod’s arch enemy! The ruthless man is a clever character, whom Imran describes as ‘cerebral’, his mind is his biggest weapon and he also wields tremendous power over officials of various countries.
Emraan also revealed the name of his character in Tiger 3. He says, “I had an amazing time creating Aatish – a man who is full of anger and can go to any extent to eliminate Tiger. I am playing a very different villain which is rare in Hindi cinema. He is a mastermind, his mind is his biggest weapon and he also has tremendous power over the officials of the countries to execute his devious plans.
Imran says, “He wants to single-handedly destroy Tiger, his family and by doing so he wants to weaken India’s biggest super agent. He knows that Tiger will always be the last man standing for India and he wants him removed at any cost.
Imran says, “I was dying to tell people about Tiger 3 but couldn’t, knowing very well that I would get great rewards when my character came in front of people. The decision to bring the anti-hero into the limelight with the trailer of Tiger 3 was clear and I am glad people are loving my dangerous twist!”
Emraan has always felt that villains are the truly memorable roles that people remember for a long time!
He says, “Playing anti-heroes is always fun because you get to play someone who doesn’t care about the rules at all. Instead, they make their own rules. So, I jumped at this opportunity because I knew I would have the freedom to create a villain that people will remember for a long time.”
He says, “I am grateful to Manish Sharma for being my guiding light in bringing Aatish to life. It was his vision of the character that I agreed to. He helped me create a character of which I am extremely proud.”
