Mumbai. Preparations for Navratri 2025 are in full swing and meanwhile one song is already winning the hearts of the audience – Zulmi Saawariya. This track has become the Dandiya Anthem of the Year, in which a tremendous confluence of Bollywood glamour and traditional Garba beats will be seen.
Released under the banner of Vibha Films and under the Saregama Music label, this song is directed and choreographed by Vijay Ganguly. He says, “Such a song is made only when the positive energy of the whole team comes together. Superb audio, more than 100 dancers, excellent sets, strong costumes and talented actors – everything was perfect.”
Divyendu is seen in this song, who has been seen in Mirzapur and many intense characters so far. For the first time, he will be seen in a romantic and festive mood. He says, “There were two big reasons for doing this song – Amit Trivedi’s amazing music and a new experiment like Garba. We had a lot of fun while shooting.”
Sharing the screen with him is Charmi Zaveri, whose previous track Mashooka was a superhit. She says, “I am a Gujarati myself, so I was very happy to be a part of this Garba song. The song, the set and the choreography, everything was grand.”
Charmi and Divyendu’s on-screen chemistry makes the song even more special. Charmi said, “Shooting with Divyendu was so energetic that it didn’t feel like we were shooting, but rather celebrating the real Navratri.”
The soul of this song is its music – Amit Trivedi has composed it. In this, the traditional tunes of Garba have been combined with modern rhythm. Bhoomi Trivedi’s powerful voice and Kumar’s festive lyrics have made it even more impressive.
Director Vijay Ganguly believes, “The audio has already become a chartbuster and now the video will also be liked by the audience. Divyendu’s new style and Charmi’s screen presence will make it a Navratri anthem.”
The song is produced by Hitendra Kapopara and co-produced by Piyush Jain. Released on the Saregama label, Julmi Saawariya is going to be a hot favourite of party and festival playlists not only for Navratri 2025 but for times to come.
