Jaipur. On Wednesday, in Budh Pushya Nakshatra, Pushyabhishek of Pratham Pujya was done in all the Ganesh temples of Chhoti Kashi. Somewhere Abhishek was done with Panchamrit and somewhere Abhishek was done with milk.
Pushya Nakshatra Abhishek in Parkota Ganesh Temple
Special religious rituals were done on Budh Pushya Nakshatra in Parkota Ganesh Temple located at Chandpol. Pratham Pujya was anointed with 101 kg of milk and Panchamrit of Lord Ganesha. In the presence of Mahant Pandit Amit Sharma, Ganesh ji was anointed with milk, curd, honey, Ganga water, kewda water, rose water and saffron water.
After Abhishek, Ganesh ji was offered a vermilion robe. He was made to wear new clothes. After this, modaks were offered to Ganesh ji with the mantras of Ganpati Atharvashirsha and Ganpati Ashtottara Namavali. Lakshmi swaroop turmeric lump and betel nut were distributed to the devotees. After reciting Ganpati Atharvashirsha collectively, Durva was offered to Ganesh Ji.

Many religious rituals were performed on Budh-Pushya in the very ancient right trunk south facing Shri Nahar Ganesh Ji Maharaj temple located on Brahmapuri Mount Road.
Yuvacharya Pt. Manav Sharma told that on this auspicious occasion, in the presence of temple Mahant Pt. Jai Sharma, Mangala Aarti was performed at 5.30 am in the morning after making Ganpati Maharaj wear new clothes and turban. And after performing regular Aarti at 7.15 am, Shri Ganpati Atharvashirsha and Rigveda mentioned Ganpati Matrika were recited. After that, in the morning, Lord was anointed with Panchamrit by Durva Marjan and between 1.30 pm and 2 pm, Modak Bhog was offered to Ganpati and he was put to sleep. Evening Maha Aarti of Lord Ganpati was performed with 251 lamps. And Shayan Aarti was performed at 12 midnight.
On this occasion, Raksha Sutras that bring happiness, prosperity and remove obstacles were distributed to the devotees who came to visit the temple.
Panchamrit Abhishek was performed at Motidungari Ganesh Temple at 8 am. Milk, curd, ghee, honey, rose water, kewda water and Henna perfume were used in the Abhishek. After Panchamrit Abhishek in the presence of temple Mahant Kailash Sharma, the Lord was given a pure bath. After this, Lord Shri Ganesh Ji Maharaj was dressed in new clothes and a Phool Bangla tableau was decorated. Modak-loving Ganpati was offered 1008 modaks along with Ganpati Sahasra Namavali.

Ganesh Ji was anointed with milk amidst Vedic mantras in Shwet Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Ji Temple located in Surajpol Bazaar. Hawan was performed for the attainment of Mahalaxmi under the guidance of temple priest Nalin Sharma. After this, moong laddus were offered and prasad was distributed among the devotees. On this occasion, special kheer was offered to Lord Ganesha.
