Jaipur. Shivaji Jayanti Mahotsav was organized in Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. During this, Governor Haribhau Bagde and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji and paid tribute to him. Earlier, the Governor and the Chief Minister welcomed the procession of Shivaji riding a horse in Raj Bhavan.
Governor Bagde said on this occasion that Shivaji constantly made the nation proud by providing capable and progressive administration to the people. The Chief Minister and the Governor recalled Shivaji’s war skills and guerilla warfare style and his great contribution to Indian culture. He called for adopting his ideals on the birth anniversary.
