New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while chairing a security review meeting at Raj Bhavan, directed all security agencies to maintain utmost vigilance and alertness and ensure the upcoming Amarnath Yatra completely peaceful. He said that the Center and the Union Territory Administration will leave no stone unturned to provide all necessary facilities to the pilgrims.
Posting on ‘X’, Amit Shah wrote, “Chaired a review meeting for Amarnath Yatra and evaluated the security arrangements and preparations for the pilgrims. Gave instructions to maintain utmost vigilance and complete the holy journey seamlessly. The Central Government and the Jammu and Kashmir Administration will leave no stone unturned to provide all necessary facilities to the pilgrims.” The high-level security review meeting was attended by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat and other top officials of the Home Ministry, Army, paramilitary forces, Jammu and Kashmir Police, civil administration and intelligence agencies of the Centre and the Union Territory.
