Jaipur: South Western Command spearheaded the “Swachhta Hi Sewa, Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta” campaign on 01 Oct 23 with one hour of intense cleanliness drive. The campaign was attended by Lt Gen B S Raju, GOC-in-C Southern Western Command.

A total of 2700 persons of South Western Command and Local administration participated in the campaign. This nationwide initiative encouraged every Indian to dedicate one hour for cleaning his surroundings.

The campaign included clean-up drives, cleaning water bodies, awareness programs and community engagement. The event was organised mainly outside Military Stations/  cantonments in coordination with local administration, municipal authorities, schools, and NGOs.

“Swachhta Hi Sewa, Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta” campaign, conducted by South Western Command aimed to inspire a collective sense of responsibility and environmental  consciousness among the citizens of India .Together, we can contribute to a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future.
