Jaipur. Manu Bhaker has won the bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol final. Manu is participating in her second Olympic Games. She made her debut in Tokyo Olympics 2020, but her performance was not very good then.

Paris, Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has created history. Manu won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics. Manu has become the first Indian shooter to win a medal at the Olympics. Manu scored a total of 221.7 points in the final. This was India’s first medal in the current Paris Olympics. Also, this was India’s fifth medal in shooting in the history of the Olympics. Korean players Oh Ye Jin won gold (243.2 points) and Kim Yeji (241.3) won the silver medal.

Manu Bhaker finished third with a total of 580 points in the 60-shot qualifying round. Bhaker scored 97 in the first series, 97 in the second, 98 in the third, 96 in the fourth, 96 in the fifth and 96 in the sixth series. Rhythm Sangwan was also participating in the women’s 10m air pistol event, but she disappointed. Rhythm finished 15th with 573 points.

Indian shooter Manu Bhaker is participating in her second Olympic Games at Paris 2024. She made her debut at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, but was deprived of a medal due to her pistol malfunctioning during the 10m air pistol qualification. She also missed out on medals in the mixed team 10m pistol and 25m pistol events.

In the competition, 22-year-old Manu Bhaker is competing in the women’s 10m air pistol, 10m air pistol mixed team and women’s 25m pistol events. She is the only athlete from the 21-member Indian shooting team to have participated in multiple individual events.
