Mumbai: Furthering its vision to make India a global EV and new energy hub, Ola Electric today announced its entry into the electric motorcycle segment with the launch of Roadster, Roadster X and Roadster Pro from the first quarter. It also announced the integration of cells into its vehicles after FY2026.

Speaking at the launch event, Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder and CMD, Ola Electric said, “Today, the Indian market consists of motorcycles and Ola’s entry into this segment will further accelerate the penetration of EVs in the Indian 2W. We have already been successful in accelerating the adoption of EVs in the scooter segment and with our future product portfolio, we are now focused on making inroads into the EV segment through our motorcycles. With the integration of our cells into our vehicles early next year, we are committed to building a new strategy to drive mass adoption of EVs across India.

EVs to be supercharged in the motorcycle portfolio segment

Ola Electric announced the launch of its all-new Roadster series of motorcycles – Roadster, Roadster X and Roadster Pro. Built on the scalable, modular, integrated Ola Motorcycle platform, the motorcycles use a minimalist, futuristic and monolithic design language. Additionally, Ola Electric has previewed two of its upcoming models, the Sportster and Arrowhead.
