Jaipur. ‘Sammukh’ will be organized by Grassroot Media Foundation in Jawahar Kala Kendra on 23 February. There will be book discussion and poetry reading in this event. This program will be held at 4 pm in Krishnayan Auditorium of JKK. The chief guest will be Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni and the chairman will be senior journalist and satirist Yashwant Vyas.
Program coordinator Pramod Sharma said that, senior litterateur Nand Bhardwaj’s book “Kaahu Ki Kathi Dhara”, Devanshu Padmanabh’s book “Jahan Baat Johte Hain Devta” and “Sanskritik Evam Puratvaak Vaibhav” published under the editorship of Vijay Joshi will be discussed. Along with this, Kamna Rajawat, Kishan Pranay, Sharda Krishna and Abhilasha Pareek will recite poetry.
Senior litterateur Nand Bhardwaj’s book ‘Kaahu Ki Kathi Dhara’ is the story of a hardworking character who participated in the Second World War as a soldier of Marwar state. Due to his sympathy with the Azad Hind Fauj, he had to remain imprisoned in the Hong Kong Fort for fourteen months. On returning from the Great War, he fought relentlessly against the Jagirdari system for a decade with the Marwar Kisan Sabha.
Devanshu Padmanabh’s book ‘Jahan Baat Johte Hain Devta’ describes the ruined temples of East-Central Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In this, the author has described that all these were the areas of great temples.
‘Sanskritik Evam Puratvak Vaibhav’, published under the editorship of Vijay Joshi, is a collection of articles written from time to time by archaeologist Ramesh Warid and published in various journals and magazines.
