Mumbai. Hombale Films and Clem Productions have made a big announcement of their animated franchise Mahavtar Cinematic Universe. This series will show the stories of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, which will run for the next decade. It will start with Mahavtar Narasimha in 2025 and end with Mahavtar Kalki Part 2 in 2037.
Director Ashwin Kumar said, “We are going to bring India’s heritage to the big screen in a way never seen before, in collaboration with strong partners like Clem Productions and Hombale Films.” He further said, “This spiritual and grand experience will begin with the Dashavatars of Mahavtar Universe… Now India will roar!”
Producer Shilpa Dhawan expressed happiness and said, “Now this is just the beginning, we are getting excited just thinking about how our stories will come alive on screen! Get ready for a powerful and tremendous cinematic journey.”
In an official statement issued by Hombale Films, the spokesperson said, “At Hombale Films, we believe that the power of storytelling transcends time and boundaries.” It also said that “Through Mahavtar, we are going to show the holy incarnations of Lord Vishnu in a spectacular animation. This is not an ordinary film series, but a true tribute to the spiritual tradition of India from our side.”
The Mahavtar Cinematic Universe will not be limited to films only, but preparations are being made to connect it with people on many platforms. Through comics, fun video games, digital stories and special collection items, people will be able to connect with these ancient stories in a new and interesting way. Whether it is in the form of graphic books or games where you can become a part of the story yourself and in this way, you will get a glimpse of Mahavtar everywhere. Its aim is to create a world full of emotions, which will be liked by today’s children, adults, that is, everyone and can bring the spiritual tradition of India in front of everyone in a new way.
Mahavatar Narasimha is directed by Ashvin Kumar and produced by Shilpa Dhawan, Kushal Desai and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Clem Productions. In association with Hombale Films, this partnership is set to deliver a grand cinematic experience to the audience. With stunning visuals, depth of Indian culture, brilliant making and a heart-touching story, the film will be released in 3D and in five Indian languages. Mahavatar Narasimha is not just a film, but a presentation that will connect today’s generation to the ancient heritage of India. The film will be released in theaters on 25 July 2025.
