Mumbai : Padma Shri awardee Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota has launched his new music label, @officialanupjalota, on YouTube. The initiative aims to provide opportunities and mentorship to 500 new voices in the world of devotional music. The label launched with the release of the song “Mere Krishna,” which is now available on all streaming platforms.
Speaking on the launch, Jalota ji became emotional and said, “I have been singing for the last 63 years and have completed 7 to 8 thousand live concerts till now. My listeners, Sanatan Dharma and India have given me more than I could have imagined.”
He further added, “Now in this new phase of my life, my aim is to train 500 spiritual singers who will carry forward the culture and devotional tradition of India. This label will not just be a platform but a family where dedicated voices will get the opportunity to shine and keep the flame of devotion alive from generation to generation.”
Singer Karishma Bachhav described it as a priceless experience in her life, saying that reaching Mission 500 was possible thanks to Anup Ji’s grace and guidance. Two years of rigorous practice has taught her a lot.
Video directors Ajay Jain and Sanjukta Jain said Karishma’s journey was incredibly inspiring. As a disciple of Anup ji, she proved her talent through hard work. They said, “It was a privilege for us to shoot in the sacred place of Vrindavan in Assam.”
Maharashtra MLA Santosh Sambre said that Anup Jalota’s efforts are a commendable step towards promoting Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma. He assured that the state government will provide all possible support.
Lyricist Vinay Vishwakarma and composer Rohit Sinha explained that creating “Mere Krishna” involved a great deal of hard work and dedication. They said being a part of Mission 500 and working with artists from around the world was an amazing opportunity.
This initiative is not just a music label but a movement that aims to bring forward 500 new bhajan singers and take India’s devotional music to the global stage.
