Jaipur. For the first time, the Army Day parade will be held outside the military cantonment in the city on January 15, 2026. Extensive security and traffic arrangements have been made by the police and administration for this historic parade, which will take place on Mahal Road in Jagatpura. Approximately 150,000 spectators are expected to attend.

Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal stated that only pass holders will be allowed entry to the Army Day parade. No one will be allowed entry without a pass. Spectators will be allowed entry to the venue only until 8:00 AM, after which entry will be completely closed at 8:30 AM for the parade lineup.

The Police Commissioner said that more than 4,000 police personnel have been deployed to maintain security and law and order during the parade. Entry to the venue and surrounding areas will be granted only after thorough checking. Spectators must carry their passes along with their identity cards. Bringing any kind of flammable materials, weapons, or suspicious objects to the event is strictly prohibited.

Keeping security in mind, flying kites and operating drones around the venue has been completely banned. The police administration will maintain constant surveillance. The Army Day parade will be telecast live in all the village panchayats of the state, allowing people in rural areas to witness this historic event. Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Yogesh Dadhich said that special traffic arrangements have been made for the Army Day parade.

Designated parking areas have been created for the convenience of residents and spectators near the venue. Additional traffic police personnel have also been deployed to manage traffic congestion in the city. The police administration has appealed to the public to arrive on time with their passes and identity cards, follow traffic rules, and cooperate with the security personnel.
